The tour starts sharply at the times indicated on the website and on the voucher.
We recommend yoube at the requested meeting point at least 15 minutes before the indicated time.

After a 45 minute long transfer, you will reach Prati di Nago at an altitude of 1560m, starting point of our day. We will then climb up the slopes of Monte Altissimo (2053m), hiking up the north face. Above the woods, in front of us the wild Val del Parol opens up and from May to July magnificent lilies, gentians and orchids accompany us. Marmots and chamois live here and it is very easy to catch a very close glimpse of them. As well as many limestone slabs covered in fossils make this area very interesting geologically. In roughly three hours of walking (430m of vertical height gain) we will reach rifugio Damiano Chiesa for lunch, on the path which runs along the ridge “Alta via del Monte Baldo”. The peak of Monte Altissimo (2070m) which can be reached in 10 minutes from the mountain hut, consists of a wide panoramic terrace overlooking Lake Garda, perfect for taking photos! Now the descent down the famous path 601, which unwinds through pine dwarf trees and rhododendrons over panoramic ridges, leads us to join up with the initial part of the ascent.

Die Tour startet pünktlich zu den auf der Website und auf dem Gutschein angegebenen Uhrzeiten.
Bitte findet Euch mindestens 15 Minuten vor dem angegebenen Uhrzeit am Treffpunkt ein.

Nach einem 45minütigen Transfer erreichen wir das Località Prati di Nago (1560 m), wo wir die Tour über die Nordseite des Monte Altissimo (2053 m) beginnen. Nachdem wir die Baumgrenze erreicht haben, eröffnet sich vor uns das wilde Tal Val del Parol, wo von Mai bis Juli zahlreiche Lilien, Enzian und Orchideen blühen. Nicht selten pfeifen Murmeltiere und Gämsen huschen schnell davon. Darüber hinaus erregen fossilienreiche Kalksteinplatten das Interesse von Geologen und solchen die es werden möchten.

Über den Gratweg “Alta Via del Monte Baldo” erreichen wir nach insgesamt 3 Stunden Fußmarsch (430 Hm) das Rifugio Damiano Chiesa und können uns dort mit regionalen Spezialitäten stärken. Der eigentliche Gipfel ist noch einmal zehn Minuten von der Berghütte entfern. Aber der Aufstiege ist ein Muss, denn der Ausblick von dort oben ist wirklich atemberaubend.

Der Abstieg zum Auto erfolgt über den berühmten Weg 601, der sich zwischen Bergkiefern und Rhododendren in Tal schlängelt und immer wieder großartige Tiefblicke auf den Gardasee freigibt.
